The Blues look certain to seal the Premier League title this afternoon as they take on Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge, and Henry feels they have not been given enough credit for their consistent performances throughout the campaign.

Arsenal fans notably chanted “boring, boring Chelsea” in their recent 0-0 draw with their rivals at the Emirates Stadium, with Mourinho not setting up his side in a particularly attacking way to take on the Gunners.

Still, Henry does not share the view that they have been boring, pointing to their impressive goals record and to the great performances of flair players like Eden Hazard this term.

The Frenchman added, writing in his column for The Sun, that Mourinho deserves huge credit for building this title-winning team.

“John Terry and Didier Drogba claim Chelsea are not being given enough respect. I agree with them,” he said.

“It is impossible to win a title without it being a team effort.

“Chelsea have been without key players during the season, most recently Diego Costa, but they have still functioned.

“Take out Cesc Fabregas, take out Eden Hazard but the team has still worked. The master behind all of this is Mourinho.

“The Blues have scored the second highest number of goals this season. Are they really boring? I think this may be harsh.”
