Gunners plot exciting transfer move.

Arsenal have been linked with an exciting move to sign highly-rated Juventus youngster Kingsley Coman this summer, according to Italian source Calcio Mercato.

The Gunners could do with additions in the middle of the park, but additional information from the Daily Mirror states that they have failed in their efforts to land the young Frenchman.

Coman is a similar style of player to his fellow countryman Paul Pogba, who has risen to become one of the best young players in the world in his time with Juventus, and the club will be hoping Coman will be able to follow in his footsteps.

Still, they will have to fight off offers for the 19-year-old as teams start to show an interest, with Arsene Wenger earning a reputation for developing some of the world’s young talent during his time in north London.

Arsenal have had success with French youngsters in the past in particular, and notably signed a certain Thierry Henry from Juve back in 1999, with the out-of-favour winger going on to become one of the world’s best strikers upon making the switch to Highbury.

Arsenal may not have succeeded so far in bringing in Coman, but it may be that they will keep trying as a midfielder seems to be on the agenda this summer, with reports earlier in the transfer window also suggesting that another Juventus star in Arturo Vidal could be brought in, according to the Daily Star.
