Chelsea could be lining up two more exciting signings this summer as they chase £48m’s worth of defensive additions, according to various recent reports.
The Premier League champions are known to be plotting some changes at the back this summer, with Filipe Luis closing in on a return to old club Atletico Madrid after failing to establish himself at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have been relatively quiet so far this summer, signing only Radamel Falcao and Asmir Begovic, but it looks like there is good news over the horizon as the Blues eye this £48m duo:
1) John Stones (Everton)
Reportedly valued at around £34m by Everton, John Stones could be on his way to Chelsea this summer as the club go public about their interest in the 21-year-old England starlet, who is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the Premier League and who could make a great long-term replacement for John Terry.
