The agent of Chelsea winger Willian Borges da Silva has enquired to Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain whether either side would be interested in signing his client in this summer’s transfer window.
This report comes from German outlet TZ online and arrives just hours after it was stated that Barcelona forward Pedro Rodriguez was in London undergoing his medical with Chelsea after a £21million transfer fee had been agreed.
According to TZ, Bayern are considering signing a new attacker, and have been given the go-ahead to sign Willian should they wish to make an offer.
PSG, too, have been questioned as to their interest in the Brazilian.
Perhaps Willian’s representative is concerned that his client will suffer limited playing time with the reigning Premier League champions should Pedro swap the Camp Nou for Stamford Bridge.
The news will come as a shock to Chelsea supporters given Willian was key in their title-winning campaign, and has established himself as a regular starter under Jose Mourinho.
Reports have also stated that Juan Cuadrado could make way for Pedro, as Mourinho plans his major transfer business late on in the summer market.
