Pep Guardiola ADMITS he has NO CONTROL over Arsenal and Manchester United targets’ future

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that he has no power over Thomas Muller and Mario Gotze‘s futures at the Allianz Arena, reports the Daily Express.

The former has been linked to Manchester United by the Express, while the Daily Telegraph have rumoured that Arsenal are interested in the latter. Their manager has no control over the situation though, with sporting director Matthias Sammer the man who will decide whether the pair leave the club.

“I am not the right person to talk about buying, selling and lending players. This is the club,” said Guardiola, “I am very content but I understand each player’s personal situation. But I am the wrong counterpart. Matthias Sammer and the president are the right people to talk to.”

Muller managed 13 goals and 10 assists in 32 Bundesliga matches last season, and could help the Red Devils with their issues in the final third. After the departures of both Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie, manager Louis van Gaal has been left with Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez as his only senior strikers.

Meanwhile, the Gunners have a plentitude of attacking midfielders, but Gotze is a level above several of their options. The 23-year-old has won the Champions League, Bundesliga, and scored the winning goal in the World Cup final last summer. With this kind of ability he could be vital as the North Londoners look to challenge for the Premier League title.
