Saido Berahino: West Brom REBEL posts ambiguous snap after Tottenham deadline day drama

Posted by

West Bromwich Albion forward Saido Berahino caused a social media stir on transfer deadline day when he tweeted that he would not be playing for Jeremy Peace, the Baggies chairman, again after claiming that he had been treated ‘poorly’ by the club over the summer.

The England international had been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur all summer, and reports from talkSPORT claim that the deal collapsed late on due to Spurs’ staggered payment demand.

According to talkSPORT, West Brom turned down two bids on deadline day after the north London outfit wanted to pay just £6m of his £25m valuation up front.

And following his now infamous tweet, unsurprisingly, he opted for 24 hours of silence across his social media sites, but today – Berahino’s back.

With it being international duty and no call up to the England squad, the striker has posted an ambiguous snap of himself on a private jet, perhaps off on another holiday.

It’s a hard life.
