Barcelona target Man City man to replace Chelsea new-boy

Barcelona have set their sights on Man City winger Jesus Navas as a potential replacement for Pedro, following his move to Chelsea, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

Jesus Navas made 29 starts in all competitions in his debut season at the Etihad Stadium and helped Manuel Pellegrini’s side to a Premier League title but last season the Spanish international failed to net a single goal in 35 domestic league appearances and the arrivals of Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne may well severely restrict the former Sevilla wide-man’s role in the Man City starting eleven.

A move back to La Liga could well interest Navas though once again the speedy attacker may well find himself playing second fiddle to Luis Enrique’s star-turns, not least as Barcelona’s current front three of Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar may well be tough to dislodge, as Pedro found prior to his move to Stamford Bridge.
