Manchester United are said to be preparing to open talks with Paris Saint Germain over a deal to sign star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to the Metro.
The Metro claim that United have been heavily linked with a number of strikers recently, with the club having to rely solely on Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial so far this season.
And now a report in Spanish publication Fichajes believe that the Red Devils are now looking into the possibility of bringing Ibrahimovic to Old Trafford in the new year.
However, the report states that United will first gauge reaction on an offer before deciding whether to press ahead with a serious offer for the 33-year-old.
Despite being low on numbers up front, United have struggled to find the net in any kind of way that would suggest they are ready to mount another serious title challenge.
