Manchester United injury news: Update after star is taken off injured in Watford win (Video)

Ander Herrera has taken to Twitter to provide some Manchester United injury news following the midfielder’s substitution against Watford.

United left it late, but ultimately secured the win thanks to a 90th-minute own goal from Hornets captain Troy Deeney.

Deeney had previously equalised from the spot after Marcos Rojo brought down Odion Ighalo, with Memphis Depay—restored to United’s starting XI for the first time since early October—having opened the scoring in the eleventh minute.

However, United’s win came at a cost, with Herrera having to be replaced with injury on 25 minutes.

The midfielder—who contributed the assist for Depay’s goal—has struggled to assert himself in United’s starting XI so far this season, and will be distraught to have been replaced so early in his first start since the end of October.

Herrera had the following to say on social media about the prognosis for his latest setback.
