Misfiring Chelsea striker Diego Costa has refused to rule out a return to former club Atletico Madrid and has even hinted that it could be going ahead soon, according to Spanish publication Onda Cero.
The Spain international has been linked with a return to his former club recently having struggled to replicate the kind of form he displayed last term.
And following on from his poor form in front of goal, there have been rumours of a rift with manager Jose Mourinho behind the scenes, prompting Costa to keep his options open when quizzed about a possible route back to the Vicente Calderon.
“Who knows if I will return to Atletico, life always takes many turns,” he said.
“Look where Filipe Luis is. The truth is that I wish him well at Atletico, and always keep encouraging them from afar.”
Atletico forward Antoine Griezmann has been heavily linked with making a move in the opposite direction, and could eventually become part of the deal.
