Video: ANOTHER discarded Man United star proves that Louis van Gaal is getting it ALL WRONG at Old Trafford

As Manchester United’s goalscoring woes continue, it seems as though the attacking options Louis van Gaal has cast away from the club just can’t stop finding the net.

On the same weekend that Chicharito scored a hat-trick for Bayer Leverkusen, Nani scored a late winner for Fenerbahce to help them see off Basaksehir to move top of the Turkish Super Lig table.

The goal was the kind of effort that we saw from Nani on several occasions during his time with United, as he cut in from the left and sent a powerful right-foot shot crashing into the net past the goalkeeper.

The 29-year-old looks to have hit top form in Turkey so far this season, and has scored six goals and contributed four assists in only 14 outings in the top flight.

It’s telling that only a day before Nani buried Basaksehir, and at the same time as Chircharito was putting Gladbach to the sword, United were falling to a miserable defeat to Bournemouth.

On the same week that the Red Devils were dumped out of the Champions League, van Gaal’s decision to offload the likes of Nani and Chicharito (as well as Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck), while placing his faith in the untested pair of Anthony Martial and Memphis Depay, is well and truly coming back to haunt him.
