Inter Milan ‘on the verge’ of accepting £34.9m Man United offer

Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly told Manchester United that they will accept their £34.9million offer if they miss out on making next season’s Champions League, according to Italian publication Tuttosport.

United are said to have failed with a move for the Argentine striker during the January transfer window, but will make a return for his signature over the summer.

And according to the report, the Nerrazzuri will accept the Red Devils’ offer if their form in the second half of the season takes a nosedive and they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Inter currently find themselves outside of the qualifying spots in the league and aren’t thought to be favourites to make it, which means a deal to take him away from the San Siro could be given the green light.

Icardi has been in good form again this term, and has bagged 10 goals in 22 appearances so far.
