Zlatan Ibrahimovic keeps Manchester United fans guessing after ‘big announcement’

Zlatan Ibrahimovic promised a ‘big announcement’ on Tuesday, but it turned out to be, as some may have expected, an off-the-pitch venture.

Speculation is still rife over what the Swedish international will do next, having confirmed that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract with the Ligue 1 champions expires at the end of this month.

It has been suggested that he was finally set to reveal his plans on Tuesday, but his Q&A session turned out to be focused on his ‘A-Z’ line of sportswear.

When asked about his future, the 34-year-old responded by stating: “There is no confirmation. No saying ‘yes’. You will have to be patient with me. My future is A-Z. There will also be A-Z in Manchester,” as reported by ESPN FC.

For now, Ibrahimovic’s focus will be on Euro 2016 as Sweden prepare to face the Republic of Ireland in their opening game of Group E on June 13.

Nevertheless, while some may have preferred to have secured their club future before the tournament, the Swede is evidently still enjoying all the chatter around his future and will continue to leave the media, supporters and clubs guessing.

Manchester United still appear to be the most likely bet, as widely reported by the British media for over a month including The Telegraph, although there will undoubtedly be various offers on the table for the former AC Milan and Barcelona star to choose from this summer.
