West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has urged his players to step up the quality in the final third of the pitch.
The former Croatia national team manager also stated that he is happy with his players work-rate.
The Hammers shared a photo of Bilic on their official Instagram page along with the following quote, “I was pleased with our work rate, but that’s a minimum, and we have to step up our quality in the last third of the pitch. It doesn’t have to be a wonder goal like Dimi’s.”
West Ham salvaged a point over the weekend against Middlesbrough via a wonder-goal from Dimitri Payet. The Hammers find themselves in 18th place with just four points after seven games.
