Chelsea secured a 3-0 win over Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday thanks to goals from Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Victor Moses.

The hosts were dominant in the first half and could have easily gone into the interval with more than a two-goal lead, but they were forced to settle and come under pressure early in the second half.

Having kept it tight at the back to deny Leicester a way back into the game though, Antonio Conte saw his side wrap up their win with an excellent goal involving youngster Nathaniel Chalobah.

The 21-year-old played a one-two with Moses with a brilliant back-heel round the corner to allow his teammate to race onto the through ball and add a third goal to Chelsea’s display.

The win lifts Conte’s men up to fifth in the Premier League table ahead of the remaining fixtures this weekend, while Leicester sit in 13th place as their difficult start to the campaign continues.

Claudio Ranieri will be left to assess another disappointing away defeat before preparing his men for their Champions League tie with FC Copenhagen next week, while his compatriot Conte will be delighted with the first-half performance in particular from his side as they made it back-to-back wins in the league and continue to recover after a dip in form last month.
