We have come to expect incredible goal-keeping from Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in recent years, but he may not have made many better saves than this.
Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez will have thought he’d opened the scoring for Bayer Leverkusen against Spurs after firing towards goal at the back post. However, Lloris had other ideas.

A genuinely unbelievable save from the French international, how he kept that out is a mystery.
There is no goal-line technology in the Champions League and Hernandez was adamant that the ball had crossed the line. No goal was given though, and the fifth-official appears to have made the right call.
