Chelsea have doubled their lead at Stamford Bridge in their Premier League clash with Tottenham as Nicolas Jackson has got on the scoresheet amid recent criticism.
The Blues took the lead in the match courtesy of a brilliant Trevoh Chalobah header and have now doubled their lead after a Cole Palmer free-kick rattled the Tottenham crossbar before Jackson headed in the rebound.
The Senegal star has received a lot of criticism in recent weeks due to his wastefulness in front of goal but this strike could be huge for Chelsea’s European football hopes.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will move up to eight with a win, three points away from Man United in the final Europa League spot.
