Jimmy Bullard, football’s answer to Norman Wisdom, etched his name on Hull City folklore with this hilarious celebration. On scoring against Man City he decided to orchestrate a celebratory homage to Phil Brown’s very public halfway dressing down of his team at half time after a shocking display at the City of Manchester Stadium last season.

In an age when footballers take themselves far too seriously Mr. Bullard is a breath of fresh air. Did you know the London born midfielder is actually available for selection for the German national team, can you imagine how hilarious that would be! It’s worth Joachim Löw naming the Hull City man in a meaningless friendly just to see Jimmy line up before the match as the national anthem plays, you know he will just be fighting the urge to recreate the Fawlty Towers walk and subsequently causing a Third World War!
Jimmy Bullard has the demeanour of a man who realises just how lucky he is to be a professional footballer but perhaps given the quality of this clip, he could also consider a career in comedy?

Fabio Capello has picked his England squad for the upcoming qualifiers against the super-powers that are Andorra and Croatia, and the Italian has produced a couple of surprises. It had appeared that the latest man to solve ‘The English Problem’ was reverting back to the ways of his predecessor, making John Terry the permanent captain and restoring the brand that is David Beckham to the squad.
