Blues legend Gianfranco Zola praises fellow countryman Mario Balotelli
There was a mixture of excitement and trepidation when Brendan Rodgers secured the £16m summer acquisition of Balotelli from AC Milan.
The Italy international is well known to fans in England for his often controversial spell with Manchester City, but Zola thinks the striker will succeed on Merseyside.
“I believe that, technically and tactically, Mario is the perfect fit for Liverpool,” the 48-year-old was quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
