Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis believes he has another year of top flight football left in him and has vowed to win himself a new deal to stay at the club, Sky Sports reports.

The experienced Argentina international, who will turn 34 in October, penned a two-year contract upon his arrival at the Etihad Stadium.
And that deal is set to expire next month, with no new deal in place.
Following a shaky start to the season last year, the former Bayern man grew into his role alongside Vincent Kompany as the club marched on to their second Premier League title and he has remained as an ever present again this term.
“I am playing every game, every two to three days, so I am just enjoying it and taking it game by game,” he said.
“I would be happy to stay this year and then one more year because I think I will still have the quality to play at this level.
“I would like to stay one more year because I think I can play at this level.”
Demichelis is in line to take on his former side, Bayern Munich, in the Champions League on Wednesday.
