We can’t get enough of Manchester City’s new cup competition kit!
The Premier League champions have unveiled the purple strip, that will be worn as the away strip for the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup this season.
The kit will be officially released on sale on September 25, before City’s Champions League fixture with Bayern Munich.
“We wanted to utilise vibrant colour so these kits look brighter at night against the grass and under floodlights.” a City press release read.
“Under a dark sky these kits will look electric, as if powered by batteries, and will provide an almost electric flash of colour on the pitch.”
Man City’s new third kit is purple. Purple. Yes, correct, they have no chance of winning anything wearing purple. pic.twitter.com/2RVIE04hsa
