Glen Johnson wants to be back in the England setup
The Three Lions maintained their 100% record in Euro 2016 qualification on Thursday as they beat San Marino 5-0 at Wembley Stadium.
However, for right-back Johnson it was somewhat painful to watch as the 30-year-old is currently injured, but may have lost his place in the national team anyway due to bad form.
“I’m training with the Academy lads and some players who I’ve never met before. It’s good and it’s different. Of course, I’d rather be away on international duty,” the defender was quoted by the Daily Star.
