The Brazil legend is currently playing for Sao Paulo – his boyhood side – and is on the verge of helping them to qualify for next season’s Copa Libertadores. He has confirmed to the Brazilian press that he would like to stay on at Sao Paulo beyond Christmas, thus playing in the most prestigious club competition outside Europe.

“We’ll talk about my future at the end of the championship. At the moment, I am happy here. I cannot  discuss that topic [leaving], I want to focus on the next matches.” said the former Milan to the Folha de Sao Paulo.

The owner of Orlando City has said he does not consider Kaka staying longer at Sao Paulo an option.
