The Danish playmaker has been superb for Spurs this season, taking his game to a whole new level after an up-and-down first campaign at White Hart Lane last year.
Eriksen’s current deal runs until 2018, but Tottenham will hope to get one of their best performers to commit to a new contract before long, with a significant improvement on his current £32,000-per-week wage on the table.
Two other in-form players Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris recently penned contract extensions at White Hart Lane.
