Will be disappointed not to be included in the national squad, especially as Luke Shaw has been selected ahead of him, so will be keen to show what Roy Hodgson has missed out on.
CM- Ryan Mason
Had a slim chance of a first call-up, but if he can keep impressing for Spurs, he will surely be more thoughtfully considered next time around.
CM- Nabil Bentaleb
The 20-year-old has been forming a really good partnership with Mason in midfield. But the test will come from how they bounce back from last week’s showing.
RW- Andros Townsend
Probably the most criticised selection in Hodgson’s squad, the winger was embarrassingly substituted inside the first half at Old Trafford, so will be looking to prove his doubters wrong firstly against Leicester, and then in the international fixtures.
