Liverpool transfer target Christian Benteke has £32.5m release clause
Tim Sherwood revealed, prior to their clash with Arsenal at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, that the Belgian forward had a £32.5 million release-clause [via The Independent] written into his contract, which could have been viewed as a ploy by the club to welcome offers for his signature in the summer transfer window.
