He’s widely considered to be a dynamic attacking player that has a huge amount of experience despite being only 22-years-old.

The Seattle Sounders President said they looked forward to welcoming him to the club in a press statement released this afteroon.

As reported by Sambafoot, Thomas arrived from the Brazilian club Flamengo for an undisclosed fee – transfer fees can’t be revealed due to MLS policies.

Thomas started his professional career with Flamengo in 2011 when he was only 18 years old, making nine appearances that season.

In 2012 he had his first opportunity to play the Copa Libertadores and in 2013 he played on loan at the Italian club Sienna.

In 2014 he returned to Brazil with Flamengo but was not considered good enough for the first team under then manager, Vanderlei Luxemburgo.

Luxemburgo has now left the club, but Bendinelli felt he needed a fresh start and has left for the US.
