Deal close: Manchester United find ideal signing to replace injured Luke Shaw

Deal on the table – could United sign THIS promising left-back?

Manchester United are reportedly looking into signing Charlton Athletic left-back Morgan Fox as a replacement for the injured Luke Shaw in the January transfer window.

The Red Devils look to have lost the England international for six months or more, meaning he is extremely unlikely to play again this season, and Louis van Gaal is keeping an eye out for potential replacements in that position.

According to the Daily Mirror, United are looking at a surprise raid on Charlton for Fox this winter, though the Addicks are offering the 22-year-old a new deal to help keep him at the club.

The talented young Welshman has become a key performer for the Championship side and it would be a big blow if he were their latest star to become poached by a bigger club.
