Leicester City are taking the Premier League by storm so far this season.
Remarkably, after 13 matches, the Foxes sit atop the Premier League and find themselves clear at the pinnacle of the table, having amassed 28 points from their fixtures to date.
There is much to commend manager Claudio Ranieri, who was an unpopular choice when he replaced Nigel Pearson—the coach who guided the Foxes to safety last season—during the summer.
However, the experienced Italian coach is overseeing a renaissance of sorts at the King Power Stadium, and Leicester—tipped for relegation ahead of the season—find themselves firmly in the race for the Champions League places.
They have scored 28 goals to date—more than any other side in the league—and as pointed out by Squawka, they are the only side in the division to have scored in every game.
Jamie Vardy, who equalled Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record for scoring in consecutive league games, has been the season’s shining light, while no side in the division have lost fewer games than Leicester (one).
