Man United will allow Ander Herrera to leave for hefty £40m fee

Manchester United have reportedly told unhappy midfielder Ander Herrera that he can leave for Italian giants Juventus providing they meet their £40million valuation, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The 26-year-old was a mainstay in the United side last season, but has so far struggled to establish himself as a first team regular this term.

This has since led to interest from the likes of Gary Neville’s Valencia and Serie A champions Juventus, though it looks as though any interested party keen on bagging a bargain deal will be disappointed.

Juventus are believed to have offered United £25million for his signature, and though the Red Devils are willing to let him go, they won’t entertain any offers that fall short of their £40m valuation.

The Spaniard is undoubtedly a talented player, but many may agree that £40m is far too high a asking price, and that United would surely do better to just give him an extended run in the first team instead.
