If Jurgen Klopp wants to bring Southampton superstar Sadio Mane into the fold next year, he may have to pay quite the pretty penny to get his man.
According to The Sun, the Saints have slapped a £40 million price tag on Mane to ward off interest from Liverpool along with other potentially interested parties.
Man United were named as a previously interested club in the Senegal superstar.
Per the source, Mane is seeking a pay raise to £125,000-a-week. Whether or not that payday comes from Southampton though remains to be seen.
Mane enjoyed his second consecutive double-digit goal season with the Saints, scoring 11 times in 37 appearances for the club. It was also his fourth straight year with double-digit goals dating back to his 2+ campaigns with Austrian Bundesliga giants Red Bull Salzburg.
