Chelsea and France midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko could be set to leave the club alongside Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois, with new boss Maurizio Sarri wanting to get rid of the midfielder this summer.

The Daily Star report that the new manager at Stamford Bridge does not see Bakayoko as being part of his plans for this season, and that the Italian is set to axe the 23-year-old.

The Evening Standard have noted that both Courtois and Hazard have indicated that they are keen to leave the west London club this summer, so it seems like Bakayoko could follow them out the door at Stamford Bridge if Sarri gets his way.

Since his move from French giants Monaco in the summer of 2017, Bakayoko has failed to replicate the performances he put in for the Ligue 1 side for the Blues so far.

The Frenchman was absolutely fantastic for Monaco in the 2016/17 season, as he helped the club reach the semi finals of the Champions League as well as beating PSG to the Ligue 1 title.

However, the player’s career in west London has been disappointing so far, with Bakayoko failing to impress fans and perform consistently since his switch.

It’s no surprise to see Sarri wanting to get rid of Bakayoko, especially considering that the club have signed Jorginho this summer, a player who could easily keep the French international out of the Blues’ starting line-up this season coming.
