Chelsea and Man United could be set to pay £31M if they want to beat the other in the race to bring Bayern Munich and Chile star Arturo Vidal to the Premier League.

This is according to the Sun, who are stating that the English duo could be set to go back in for the Chilean international, with the same report re-reporting Bild, who state that the Bundesliga outfit are willing to let the midfielder leave the club.

The news outlet also states that Vidal could be allowed to leave the Allianz Arena for just £31M, an absolute bargain of a price for a player of his quality.

Man United and Chelsea could go back in for Vidal this summer

Since his move to the Bavarian giants from Juventus in the summer of 2015, the Chilean has been a key par of the Bayern side that have swept aside all the competition in Germany.

Vidal’s output from midfield has helped the club secure three consecutive Bundesliga titles since his arrival, as well as a host of DFB Pokal’s and German Super Cups.

The former Juventus star would be an absolutely fantastic buy for both the Blues and the Red Devils, and is a signing that would be a great one for the Premier League in general should it go through.
