Real Madrid are eyeing up a move for Inter Milan and Argentina forward Mauro Icardi this summer, with the club wanting him to join Eden Hazard by moving to the club.

This is according to Don Balon, who state that the club have identified Icardi as their number one striker target this summer, and that Inter are willing to let him go, with it also being noted that they want Hazard to replace Cristiano Ronaldo in their side.

The same report also states that the player has a release clause of €110M, and that the Spanish giants are hoping to get him for cheaper than that at a price of around €80M to €90M.

The Mirror are stating that, as translated and re-reported from Le10Sport, Los Blancos have agreed a deal to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea this summer, so it seems like the club are finally getting their backsides in gear this transfer window.

Icardi has been on absolute fire for the Nerazzurri these past few seasons, something that has seen fans label him as one of Europe’s most deadly forwards.

The Argentine international has scored a total of 107 goals in 182 appearances for Inter since his arrival, a fantastic record for that any player would be proud to call their own.

With Karim Benzem rapidly declining these past few years, it’s clear for all to see that Real need a new man striker in their side, and Icardi definitely has it in him to be that guy.

If Real do end up signing both Icardi and Hazard, it could be the transfers they need to claim the La Liga title back off of rivals Barcelona next season.
