The agent of Brazilian star Bernard is reportedly in London for talks with Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea, according to journalist Andresinho Marques.
Marques, who writes for news outlet Premium Sport, tweeted the news on Friday evening, and we’re sure it’s news that will be music to the ears of Chelsea fans.
This tweet was covered by the Daily Star, who note that the Brazilian midfielder is set to cost absolutely nothing to the club he signs with due to his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk running out.

Should Chelsea manage to snag a deal for Bernard, it would be an absolute bargain of a deal for the club to land, as the player is set to cost the club nothing in terms of a transfer fee.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a fairly successful spell during his time with the Ukrainian giants, as he managed to score 28 and assist 35 in 157 appearances for the club.
Bernard’s displays also helped the club capture a variety of silverware, some of which includes the Ukrainian Premier League and the Ukrainian Super Cup.
Bernard’s dribbling prowess and ability on the ball is the element of his game where he is strongest, and is something that helped him claim a place in Brazil’s squad for their 2013 Confederations Cup win.
Chelsea signing Bernard would be a great signing for the club, with it also giving new Blues boss Sarri another option in midfield as he looks to get his spell at Stamford Bridge off to a good start this year.
