Barcelona officially unveiled Arturo Vidal to the media and fans on Monday, and their new recruit did the traditional keepy-uppy challenge on the Nou Camp pitch.
In truth, the Chilean international looked like he was struggling as he doesn’t quite boast the greatest technical skill we’ve seen on a football pitch.

However, he more than makes up for that in other facets of the game and will look to play a fundamental role for Ernesto Valverde’s side this season.
Accompanied by his son on the pitch after all the media obligations were taken care of, Vidal looked over the moon to be wearing the colours of the Catalan giants, and he’ll hope to add real tenacity and energy in midfield alongside the likes of Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets moving forward.
He’s developed a winning habit over the years with Juventus and Bayern Munich, now he’ll look to take that to Barcelona as they look to defend their domestic crowns this year while also making a bigger impression in the Champions League. Vidal’s presence will certainly help with that.
