Bayern Munich eyeing up transfer swoop for €100M-rated Barcelona superstar

Bayern Munich are eyeing up a move for Barcelona and France winger Ousmane Dembele, with the club reportedly willing to make a big money offer to secure the services of the youngster.

This is according to Don Balon, who note that the German giants are on the lookout for a replacement for Arjen Robben, and that Dembele himself hasn’t ruled out a change of scenery this summer.

Don Balon have reported previously that Ernesto Valverde’s side are willing to sell the player for €100M, implying that this total is what they rate the player to be worth, a price that is a fair one considering the potential and ability Dembele has in his locker.

Bayern are reportedly ready to get their chequebook out to bring Dembele to the Bundesliga this summer

Dembele struggled at the start of last season for the Blaugrana, as the player suffered an injury in September that ruled him out for most of the club’s campaign.

However, upon returning from injury, the winger wowed the Camp Nou faithful with his impressive dribbling skills and lightning-quick pace.

The French international has already shown during his time with Borussia Dortmund that he has what it takes to cut it against the best that the Bundesliga has to offer.

And him moving to Bayern may be a wise move, as it’s a country that the player himself is already quite familiar with, and he’d be playing for a team who are expected to win the league every year, meaning there’d be somewhat less pressure than if he stayed with Barcelona.

Only time will tell now if Bayern end up launching a move for Dembele, and whether Barca would actually be willing to let the player leave just a year after he joined them.
