Real Madrid may very well include key star Keylor Navas in a deal to bring Valencia and Spain forward Rodrigo the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
This is according to Don Balon, who note that Julen Lopetegui has made the forward his number one target to bolster his side’s attacking options this summer, and that Los Che want around €80M if they are to let the Spanish international depart.
The report also notes that the club are going to try and get a cheaper deal for Rodrigo by including one of their players in the deal, and Navas may very well be the star they use in the their offer for the forward.
Rodrigo would be a smart signing from Los Blancos, as the player showed last season that he’s definitely capable of cutting it against the best sides that La Liga has to offer.
With Cristiano Ronaldo now gone, signing Rodrigo would definitely help fill the void that has been left by the Portuguese sensation following his move to Juventus this summer.
The 27-year-old scored a total of 19 goals in all competitions for Valencia last year, as he helped the club secure a fourth-placed finish in La Liga and the Champions League football that comes with it.
Using Navas in a deal to get Rodrigo would be very clever from Real considering they’ve just signed Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea.
Now all that remains to be seen is whether the club actually go through with it and make their move to bring Rodrigo to the Spanish capital this summer.
