Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on the Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.

The 26-year-old Cameroon international has made quite an impression since his move to the Italian club and he has established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper at San Siro.

The player joined Inter Milan as a free agent and it remains to be seen whether the Italian outfit are prepared to sell him after just one season at the club.

Journalist Graeme Bailey has revealed to Teamtalk that Tottenham have been long-term admirers of the 26-year-old goalkeeper and they are one to keep an eye on as far as the feature of the Cameroon international is concerned.

“Onana joined Inter from Ajax last summer, but he could now be allowed to leave after just 12 months in Milan.

“Tottenham are very much one to keep an eye on. They liked him a lot before he moved to Milan.”

Apparently, the Italian outfit are under financial pressure and they will need to raise substantial funds to balance their books.

On the other hand, Tottenham need a quality replacement for Hugo Lloris. The Frenchman has regressed considerably and Spurs must look to bring in a more reliable goalkeeper.

Onana has proven his quality in the Italian league and the 26-year-old certainly has the ability to thrive in the Premier League as well.

The Cameroon international could be a quality long-term acquisition and he could be available for a reasonable price as well. Inter Milan signed him on a free transfer and therefore they could be open to selling the player for a reasonable profit.
