West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing the Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.

The Red Devils are prepared to listen to offers for the Scottish midfielder and the Hammers are hoping to bring in the 26-year-old in as a replacement for Declan Rice.

A number of Premier League clubs are hoping to sign the 24-year-old West ham midfielder and the Hammers are already planning for a future without him.

As per Football Insider, Manchester United value the midfielder at £25 million and it remains to be seen whether West Ham are prepared to pay up for his services.

Meanwhile, the Hammers are keeping tabs on the Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as well.

McTominay has a contract with Manchester United until the summer of 2025 but he has not been a regular starter for Erik ten Hag this season. The midfielder has started just seven times in the league this season and he needs to play more often in order to fulfill his potential.

A move away from Old Trafford would be ideal for the Scottish midfielder and West Ham could provide him with the platform to shine in the Premier League.

The hardworking Scottish midfielder will add work rate and defensive cover to David Moyes’s midfield and it remains to be seen whether the two Premier League clubs can come to an agreement regarding a reasonable fee in the coming months.

McTominay is well-settled in the Premier League and he should be able to make an immediate impact at the London stadium.
