Liverpool

Despite reported interest from Arsenal in Mason Mount, Liverpool remain the favourites for the Chelsea midfielder as they consider Mount one of the priorities. But it all depends on Chelsea new deal negotiations and also the Chelsea manager situation. I think it’s not about Champions League football, it’s about the project; the real timing for Mount decision will be May/June, not now for sure.

Roberto Firmino will leave Liverpool on a free transfer this summer, it’s already decided. He wants a new challenge, a new opportunity. He will probably leave the Premier League because he wants to respect Liverpool. There have been reports of a done deal between Firmino and Barcelona, but I can tell you that he has signed no contract with Barca at this stage at all. Barca are always attentive to the free agent market, but there isn’t even anything agreed with Firmino, there is nothing advanced. Of course Firmino is looking for a new opportunity and his agent will explore options, but we’ll have to see what is next for the Brazilian.

Liverpool and Manchester United remain keen on signing Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister — as talks will take place very soon, not late in the window.

James Milner, out of contract in June. Jurgen Klopp on his future: “There’s no update on Milner contract as of now. Until we have something to say about it, I would have thought. Whenever that will be.”

Manchester City

Pep Guardiola: “We still don’t know what’s gonna happen with Gundogan’s future. He’s 100% focused on the present. What’s going to happen for the future, is going to happen. The best for him, he’s going to deserve it.” Barca consider Gundogan a priority summer target.

Pep Guardiola: “Mahrez? He’s grumpy with me when he doesn’t play, all the time. He makes me notice when he’s grumpy. I’m so happy for Riyad, he loves to play football, he’s given so much for this club and hopefully in the future.”

Manchester United

PSG

I think now we will get many names every day for PSG job, so it’s normal to see a name like Jose Mourinho come up as well. Still, at this stage there’s nothing concrete; Mourinho is 100% focused on Roma as they fight for Champions League spot and also to win the Europa League. Mourinho is doing an excellent job at Roma, he’s always a top coach.

Real Madrid

Moises Caicedo: “I like Real Madrid. It has always been my dream to play for Real Madrid. I’m doing things very well now; so why not joining Real Madrid one day and win the Champions League? It’s my biggest dream.”

I’m not aware of concrete talks with Real Madrid at this stage, it’s his dream but not something that is being negotiated now. Arsenal are still interested in him, as are others.

Marco Asensio on his contract expiring in June: “I love Real Madrid. I have gone through very hard times. Madridistas are supporting me, they understand how I feel and how much I love this club.” New contract negotiations are still ongoing.

Roma

Despite links with PSG, there’s nothing concrete with Jose Mourinho, who is happy with Roma and focused on trying to win the Europa League. He’s done an excellent job with Roma and remains a top coach, so it’s normal to see a big name like him mentioned as PSG continue to be linked with several new managers.

Tottenham

There’s no update on Harry Kane; Daniel Levy wants to keep him and Tottenham will insist to keep him, but new project and new coach will be crucial to understand his future.

Wolves

Adama Traore will be out of contract at Wolves this summer and I’m sure he’s a good idea for every club, he probably needs a change to make an impact again at top level. His agent is exploring opportunities around Europe; not just in England. Nothing is now at advanced stages but will be one to watch for sure.
