Man United are in the market for a midfielder this summer and Erik ten Hag has learned how much it will take for the Manchester club to sign Everton’s Amadou Onana.

According to Football Insider, Everton are open to selling the midfielder if they are relegated from the Premier League and it is said that the Toffees are willing to accept offers of over £50m for the 21-year-old.

Onana only joined the Merseyside club last summer but has impressed during his short time in England. The Belgian international signed a contract at Everton until 2027 but he is prepared to push for a move this summer – especially if Everton are relegated to the Championship.

Even if the Toffees stay up, it is possible that the 21-year-old still leaves the Liverpool-based club; however, Everton will attempt to convince Onana to stay put on Merseyside if they survive the drop this season, states the report.
