Arsenal thrashed Newcastle United 4-1 in their Premier League game, while Man City ground out a 1-0 win away to Bournemouth to continue their title charge, with Foden netting their winner.
Liverpool were not in action in the Premier League but Van Dijk and also Caoimhin Kelleher were key players for them as they beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Carabao Cup final.
