Kyle Walker reveals who he doesn’t want to win the Premier League

The Manchester City defender has given his honest opinion on which one of Arsenal and Liverpool he doesn’t want to see win the Premier League title at the end of the season.

For the first time in a long time, it is looking more and more likely that the race for the league title will be made up of three contenders.

With Arsenal one point behind Manchester City in third and two points behind leaders Liverpool, they have the potential opportunity to leapfrog both sides depending on the outcome of Sunday’s titanic clash.

A title win for Mikel Arteta’s side off of the back of last season’s heartbreak would be incredible for the Gunners but speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s FIVE show, Kyle Walker has revealed that he would not like Arsenal in particular to lift the title.

“I don’t want Arsenal, because of Tottenham,” he said via TBR Football.

“Yeah, yeah… I don’t want Arsenal!”

The English defender spent eight years at Tottenham Hotspur with his dislike of bitter North London rivals Arsenal, justifiably still present.

After losing at the Emirates Stadium at the start of the season, Walker will be keen to put a dent in their title hopes when the Gunners come to the Etihad Stadium at the end of the month.

The 33-year-old made sure to send a warning to their rivals, ‘come to the Etihad, we’ll see,’ he stated on the show.
