Man United vs Everton lineups, preview, team news and where to watch

Man United vs Everton takes place on Saturday afternoon and is the Premier League’s first game of the weekend.

The Red Devils come into this one on a poor run of form, including a damaging 3-1 derby defeat against arch-rivals Manchester City.

Everton, on the other hand, were handed a recent boost after their 10-point deduction for financial breaches was reduced to six points. And although the Toffees have failed to win any of their last 10 league games, there will be optimism that they can cause an upset today.

Man United will fancy their chances though — Everton have won just one of their past 30 Premier League games at Old Trafford — a 1-0 victory under Roberto Martinez back in December 2013.

Consequently, with United hoping to cling onto European qualification and Everton desperate to beat the drop, there is so much at stake for both teams today.

Ahead of the match, which is scheduled to kick off at 12.30 p.m. (UK time), Erik Ten Hag and Sean Dyche have named their starting lineups, both of which are unchanged from their last games against City and West Ham, respectively.

Victor Lindelof starts at left-back for United following injuries to both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia. Rasmus Hojlund, Harry Maguire and Aaron WanBissaka also miss out.

Elsewhere, Everton have named a strong starting lineup with Idrissa GueyeArnaut Danjuma and Dele Alli as the Toffees’ only notable absentees. James Garner starts against his former club.
