Frank Lampard to start new job as football pundit for Euro 2024 coverage

Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard will be part of BBC’s team to cover the Euro 2024 this summer.

The former England international has been unemployed since his role as the manager of Chelsea last season.

He is about to embark on a new journey this summer as he becomes the part of the BBC team that will cover the Euro 2024.

He will be joined by former England teammate Wayne Rooney, who has taken an active role in football punditry.

The former Manchester United striker has been a regular as a pundit since being sacked by Birmingham at the beginning of the year.

Rooney has featured on TNT Sports and Sky Sports as a football pundit and now he will join BBC’s star studded line-up for the Euro this summer.

As announced by the BBC on their official website, their punditry team will include Lampard, Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Joe Hart, Ellen White along with Micah Richards and Ashley Williams.

Frank Lampard will join the BBC coverage for Euro 2024 in Germany.

Former Arsenal and Spain midfielder, winner of the Euro on two occasions, Cesc Fabregas will join them in the studio along with Brentford manager Thomas Frank.

James McFadden, Rachel Corsie and David Moyes will provide a Scottish viewpoint during the tournament.

After the Premier League season getting over, all the attention now will be on the Euro this summer.

England will kick-off their campaign against Serbia on 16th June while their other group games include matches against Denmark on 20th June and Slovenia on 25th June.

Throughout the tournament, the BBC will broadcast 27 LIVE MATCHES as they establish their headquarters in the heart of Berlin for an entertaining summer.

Rooney will have fond memories of the Euro as he briefly became the youngest goal scorer in the history of the European Championship back in 2004 when he scored four goals.
