The Norwegian starlet was pictured training with Bayern Munich recently, and the club’s chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has no revealed that the Bundesliga giants are trying to secure his signature.
“He’s an extraordinary talent,” Rummenigge said.
“We’re trying to acquire him and I believe we have a good chance.”
15-year-old Odegaard has recently had trials with Liverpool and Arsenal, with Bayern just the latest team to show an interest in the player.
Manchester United and Celtic are also thought to be monitoring the situation, so the teen sensation has plenty of options to choose from.
Currently plying his trade in his native Norway with Stromsgodset, Odegaard would surely find it difficult to break into a world class team such as Bayern Munich. The chance to sign for one of the greatest clubs in world football however, may prove too good of an opportunity for him to pass up.
