Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has issued an apology through his official Twitter account after the FA handed down a one match suspension and £25,000 fine for a posting on his Instagram account that was deemed to be an “aggravated” breach of the rules. Balotelli apologised to his club, team mates and supporters as well as anyone who may have been offended by the post.
