The talented French youngster has been on the radar of Arsene Wenger’s side for some months with a proposed permanent deal touted in the summer never materialising.
The 19 year old has also been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea but it now seems he will sign on a temporary basis for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
#PSG‘s Rabiot set to join #THFC on 6-month loan w/o option to buy (Gazzetta). Lots of competition for places, but I’d expect him to do well

Strangely, Rabiot’s short term deal doesn’t give the North Londoners an option to permanently sign the midfielder at the end of his spell at White Hart Lane.
The move is being seen as more of a way for Rabiot to gain first team experience as he’s unable to break into a PSG side littered with experienced stars, the Frenchman only penned a new contract until 2019 this season.
French football expert Matt Spiro says he believes the reason PSG haven’t included an option to buy is due to the unclear future of current manager Laurent Blanc.
Blanc has becoming frustrated with Rabiot’s apparent eagerness to leave the French champions in the summer and will not play the youngster, however PSG believe if they give their beleaguered boss the boot in the summer then Rabiot could still have a future at the Parc des Princes.
Telling that #PSG seemingly wont include option to buy. Rabiot may yet have future in Paris if Blanc (who’s fed up with him) gets boot #THFC

Whilst Spurs fans will undoubtedly be happy with the capture of such a talented youngster, the lack of option to buy means the North London side’s time nurturing his talent could all be for someone else’s benefit.
