The Welshman has been having a tough second season at the Bernabeu after an incredibly successful first campaign, in which he was instrumental in winning both the Copa del Rey and the Champions League. This time round the team has not been playing so well, and he has come under fire from the press and fans for selfishness on the ball. Some supporters were even filmed attacking his car while he was in it after the El Clasico loss on Sunday.

Bale’s woes have piqued the interest of the aforementioned trio of English clubs, who could all be willing to pay £75m to bring the 25-year-old back to where he made his name with Tottenham. However, despite the pressure on the forward at the moment, he is keen to stay at the La Liga giants and win over his detractors in Madrid.
